the other day my dog was limping from her back leg. She was pretty much walkin on 3 legs. But today, i notice her limping leg looks okay and she seems to be walking and running w/o any stress. Should i still have her check up anyways or feed her some joint enhancement pills they sell at petstores?

Just as with humans, dogs do pull muscles, and get sprains..If she limps again, just for no apparent reason, it would warrant a visit to the vet..but she may have just pulled something.
this is an excellent supplement, and is reasonably priced> http://springtimeinc.com/product/94/2

lol...no you shouldn't feed her some pills or take her to the vet. Dog's get little aches and pains just like people. She might have just sprained it or something. If she isn't still limping then don't worry about it. If she starts limping again, it last for a few days, or the pain is severe then take her to the vet.

My dog sometimes does this, but after 15 minutes of limping he just starts walking fine.
I sometimes think he does this do attract attention.

When she limps you could check her leg and see if she's bleeding or if it hurts her. If not, than it's no problem.

feel her leg and see if there is any warmth, heat, compared to the other leg. Could be a sprain if she is a very hiper dog. I would check that out first , then gums, they should be pink not white. Some dogs refuse to let there owner know they are sick, for the reason of loyalty and the other reasons u would have to ask the dog..lol...get back to me and let me know about the heat and gums..

Probably had a sprain or something. Dogs' muscles heal very quickly compared to people, so being fine the next day is normal.

How old is she, and what is her breed?
Some breeds are more prone to joint problems.
Did you check her paw? If not, REALLY look at it, gently pull her toes apart and check for anything foreign, swelling, redness or an odd odor. Dogs can get yeast infections in their toes!.
Finally, giving her glucosamine/chondroitin wont hurt her.
Best of luck to you and your furry friend!

Maybe your dog stepped on a rock or something sharp. Unless you see any other signs of limping, I wouldn't worry about it.

I would definitely take her to the vet and ask his/her opinion. They'll probably tell you that it was a cramp, sore muscle, etc, and not to worry, but to bring her back if it persists...just like people pretty much.
Vitamins for dogs are only a good idea if the vet says it's okay. Good luck.

dogs have a very strong immune system, there saliva acts as an antiseptic fluid and keeps germs away.they don't need any pill,if they would have, dogs wouldn't have survived till now!
