I told Cupcake that I was sorry I had dinner with her friend
(just a friendly dinner) and she said that I'm full of beans.
what next? Flowers? A vacation? She said I'm borderline stupid.

She's just not that into you.

You crossed the line having dinner with her friend without her. Whoops.

You will need to work extremely hard to get her trust back. I don't know if gifts will help but you could try sending flowers with a message of apology and confirming your love. But first of all you need to workout if you really love her and want to be with her and if you do you will have to think before you act in future.

Nah man, you crossed the border. If it was all that innocent, you would have told "Cupcake" ahead of time, rather than wait for her to find out later.
You'd better reassess what your intentions are and make them clear if you're still into "Cupcake."

Well it depends on what you did. Now, you can't just do anything to a person and think I'm sorry is gonna make it all better. If you cheated give her some space.

Sounds like she's a tad bit emotional. You need to wait for her to cool down but stand your ground, be sympathetic to her insecurities. You didn't do anything wrong, you just needed to think a little before you act. Good luck.

She's jealous of her friend. Don't apologize, confront her and tell her that her self-inflicted, psychological drama isn't your problem!
