because if we get rejected during war, we just bomb whatever rejected us. can't do that to a woman. (yet)

They think going to war is a more honorable cause. That saving other elder people, women and children is much noble than spending their time with one woman, even if they love her. They do not understand that their action could devastate that one woman who wants to be with them more than anything in the world. They later realize what they've done, but usually after it's too late.
