I know some women that like rough play during sex, but outside of that situation (if that is how she gets off) it shouldn't be done. It has to be a fantasy thing. If it is an everyday thing than I think the woman needs counseling to figure out why she needs to be treated that way to feel like she is loved.

Of course! if this 'lover' actually loved you, then he wouldn't be smacking you around. THEY are not in love.. maybe she is.. but unfortunately, this guy has some issues.

Does it make the girl feel loved and appreciated? Is this a form of getting attention? Let me share this. I would literally jack her up then sexually dog her...abuse!, oh how sorry she would feel. Is her esteem so low...well I'd gladly accommodate her and she better like it. Think she is sick...I for one am much sicker. Be careful what you ask for...unfortunately many woman are in THEIR GRAVES because of ABUSE...you do them no JUSTICE.

it's not wrong to want that. he doesn't have to give her everything she wants though, especially if it is not good for her or could really hurt her.
