use your mouse to place your arrow(cursor) in an 'open' place on the task bar - left click and hold
then "pull" down to the bottom of the screen - and release the left
click

I believe this should realign your task bar

Try click and drag, if doesn't budge, then -
right click over the task bar.
Click on 'lock the task bar.' So that it is unchecked.
then try click and drag to where you want it.

You simplly click the taskbar in the middle (i.e. the grey area) and then drag it to where you want it.
