''Keep in mind that there is NOTHING in this passage to suggest that the children were at any fault of anything.''
actually, if you read before it, it's talking about the ''children of Jezebel'' but wait mike, didn't Jezebel like...die in the old testament? that is correct. well then how are THESE her children? well, it's like ''the children of God'' or ''the children of satan.'' children in this context does not mean little ones, what it means is ''those who are following in the same teachings of'' Jezebel, who called herself a prophetess, but ate foods sacrificed to idols and enticed some of God's servants to commit adultery with her. the church was about 40 years old now, and if you read after the verse quoted here, it talks about ''knowing the depths of satan.'' this is a pre-gnostic belief that one was free to engage and explore the rituals/activities of satan, and participate in evil with the body without harming the spirit.

Children does not mandate that they are literally 'children'. I am a child of my parents. I am 42 years old. That does not make me any less their child. And also, you must not grasp some of the scripture and disregard the rest. Read before and after that scripture. He was talking about judgment, was He not? That's what amazes me about Bible critics. Some one can walk from the moon and say anything they want to and some will jump on their band wagon. And not just jump on their band wagon but defend every aspect of the garbage they stand for. But let someone say something about God, Oh, all Hell has literally broken loose. I take heart that one day the nay sayers will be put to shame. Because as I live and breathe, there is coming a day that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Sometimes I wish I could see the look on the critics face on that day. Priceless!!!!!

WOW...
you have a warped sense of Biblical knowledge
Pharaoh chose the final plague, not God. Pharaoh could have chosen to let the Isrealites go, he did not...then he was told that the last plague would be of his choosing, and he made a comment about killing the babies.
I'll have to look up the passages BEFORE and AFTER in Revelation to understand the meaning. You can't just pick out a sentence or two without examining what the TRUE CONTEXT of it is.

it is not a sin to judge evil and save children from their deeds!
but that judgment call is Gods alone!
One of the things i understand about justice and judgment in the book of revelation is that God cannot let a false religion rule on the face of planet earth and let it reign in unrighteousness over the the servants of righteousness and true faith.
Babylon is the false Gospel of another god. when the harlot of the earth comes to such a great power that all the children of God are killed and murdered in such unrighteousness then indeed Gods righteousness must overshadow false religion

first of all its because revelation is gods judgement on people, not gods "be nice to people cause youre gonna be stuck here for a while" spiel
secondly god will kill the children so they can go to heaven and not be currupted by the sinful people in the world
(anyone below the age of accountability - when they know enough to make their own decisions and know the consquences
third- the book of revelation also says we wont understand everything thats written in it, so it might not be a "child" in a baby sence of the word it could be like the offspring of a nation, everyone thats born in the nation would be a child of that nation

You have to note that the context of this is judgement upon the evil prophetess Jezebel. A precedent is found in how God struck dead David's child when his sin was found out. Yet David can say that he will go to his child when he dies, which means heaven. Thus the babies would be in heaven. Sometimes we have to see things in a heavenly perspective. Had the children been raised they would have been as evil as their parents and they would suffer a worst fate after they die. God was gracious here.

he's talking about a very sinful woman in that. children that are not old enough to understand God will go to heaven anyway. heaven is a much better place than earth. so accually the only people he was hurting were those that enslaved his chosen people and the evil woman that is talked about in the few verses before rev. 2:23. when we are born unto this world we are born into sin. and only God has the power to save you from that. jesus tells us to turn the other cheek because vengance belongs to the lord. God will take care of it all in due time. kinda like how you would think of karma. and jesus is not God. jesus is the son of God and is of God but is not accually god himself.

Alucard, you know better....
Jesus Loves The Little Children
Jesus calls the children dear,
Come to me and never fear,
For I love the little children of the world;
I will take you by the hand,
Lead you to the better land,
For I love the little children of the world.
Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.
I am coming, Lord, to Thee,
And Your soldier I will be,
For You love the little children of the world;
And Your cross I’ll always bear,
And for You I’ll do and dare,
For You love the little children of the world.
Jesus died for all the children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus died for all the children of the world.
Jesus is the Shepherd true,
And He’ll always stand by you,
For He loves the little children of the world;
He’s a Savior great and strong,
And He’ll shield you from the wrong,
For He loves the little children of the world.
Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world

Who is the "her" that the first sentence in your quote refers to? (Sorry, I don't have a copy of the Bible within arms reach). Is it a person? Earth? Or some symbolic imagery? Remember, most of Revelations is symbolic, so you can't always take it literally.
Off topic: Love Hellsing, by the way, so cool name.

there is so lots greater to the Elisha case than meets the attention. First, they weren't toddlers interior the sense we expect of of young ones. there grew to become into no style of 'young toddlers' some time past then. The youths who ganged up in comparison solitary guy have been a mob. 40-2 of them on the least. They got here from city that grew to become into the royal cult centre of the northern kings, in opposition to Elisha's challenge. Elisha and his predecessor have been interior the corporation of confronting the wickedness of the kings who had given the rustic over to apostasy and idolatry. which you would be able to view this mob with the aid of fact the young ones Wing of the Cult celebration. the particular word of abuse they hurled ought to have been a connection with how Elisha's predecessor have been taken faraway from the scene of the earth, wishing Elisha could disappear purely as unexpectedly, earlier his ministry ought to start up. properly, God had purely ordained Elisha, verifying that with signs and symptoms, and those hooligans ought to have regular that God grew to become into the capability in the back of the ministry. that they had for sure pointed out themselves as being on the part of idolatry and insurrection against Yahweh, so while Elisha stated as down an unspecified curse, and the end result grew to become into 2 bears popping out of the woods, mauling 40 two of them. be conscious that it does not say they have been killed? It does prepare that they have got been taught a good lesson in taunting the Lord's anointed prophet. Elisha's new ministry grew to become into for this reason shown to his enemies as being something to worry, yet for people who stood for Yahweh, it grew to become into encouragement to appreciate that the departure of Elijah grew to become into no longer the top of God's hand of capability interior the godless land. This shows the version between the region with Elisha and what Jesus grew to become into conversing approximately. Now, if a mob of over 40 indignant youths had threatened Jesus with the aid of fact he claimed to be the Messiah, the anointed certainly one of God, you'll be confident that Jesus does no longer have come out with that announcing on that celebration, to coach the different cheek! Jesus grew to become into interior the process his sermon on the mount, exhibiting God-fearing Israelites a thank you to stay. the two circumstances are completely diverse. you are able to no longer evaluate one with the different. Or, in case you opt for for to try this, you ought to be arranged for some to indicate out that oranges can't be in comparison with apples.
