better than you i see! just kidding. Just answer politely. If youve been good...say good...or fine. Or if youve been sick, say you had a bug for a few days but feel great now. And about this person who causes you problems...i have 3 people who cause a lot of problems..not just with me..but with the whole family and then some. Only one i see on a regular basis now. And when they start into their stuff...i try to always stay nice, unless they get nasty, rude or mean. Then i am firm. And that makes her quit. I dont stoop to her level, because that would make me look as bad as her, i go above her and just let her know that how she acts is not tolerated by me. And she ends up looking like a fool, and i get satisfaction knowing she made herself look bad in the process and trying to get to me.

You've probably heard the saying "kill em with kindness"? It really does work.

Okay, you're going to have to practice this one in the mirror. Your smile has to be sincere ... Smile sweetly (as though you haven't a care in the world), look them DEAD in the eyes (don't waver) and say, "I've been awesome .... why do you ask?" and keep staring at them. It will make them feel soooo uncomfortable and they will be at a loss for words. Don't forget the very intensive meeting of the eyes without looking down or away for even a second. You will *own* them.

If you want to be mean about it, ask how long it has been since you last saw the person, then tell them that things have been really great for you during that time. Follow with buh-bye.

You could answer 'busy'. Gives the impression that life goes on, regardless of the problems they caused. Also closes the door on further dialogue.

Make the person feel really bad in front of a lot people. An answer such as "Life has been so terrible since you (insert incident) to me!"

or you could of course make it short and simple and make sure they know you dont want to talk to them. "I'm fine... just on my way to the bathroom."

The same thing you'd say to someone you do like. There's no reason to be rude unless this person is reeeally creepy. Then you should distance yourself.

Answer truthfully. Be the bigger person. If THEY don't like YOU, then that's baggage that they are carrying around. Answer as if you were answering a stranger.

Just tell them that you have been doing fine, smile and say in fact things just couldn't be better :o) and then with great class and dignity..walk away

Unless the dude is creepy, just answer them normally as you would as if it were someone you did like.

I am wonderful. And then walk away, do not give them room to ask more questions. Don't ask how are you? Just answer i am wonderful, I have to go now thanks for asking. That's all walk away.
