We have not met one another(we have seen fotos of each other) though we live in neighboring cities.I met her through chat and now we are pretty good friends.In fact now we interact more through smses than chat.But not once have i called up bcos she does not want me to. She says she is not comfortable with it.Its over 2 years now we literally look to each other when we have problms and discuss them or share our day to day stuff too but still over smses.I always like to talk and talk with her on chat and smses.I enjoy every bit of my interaction with her.
What I want to ask is shud I call her up without her wanting me to? Is it not time that we met? I would surely want to see if this relationship can grow further.But at the same time I dont wanna lose her as a friend due to her misunderstanding me which happens in many close friendships.
Can anyone especially girls suggest how can I go about this?Its difficult to predict how a girl wud react hence I am asking the girls for some answers

Honey its been 2years. Common now. If this woman really wanted to meet u in person she would have by now. Allot of times we as women just need someone to talk to and for that person to just listen. She doesn't want you to contact her because you are her "go to" person. I think she really doesn't want you meet her in person but just be there for her when she needs you. Baby its been 2 years. You are like her secret Santa. Not offering her gifts, but offering her your ears and your advice. We all need some one to share things with on a personal level. I feel that if you push the fact of meeting you will run her away. She doesn't want to meet u, but wants you to just be there for her with NO strings attached. I hope you understand what I'm saying. If she has ask you not to call then you shouldn't but I'd be asking her why? Most girls love to talk on the phone. Maybe she has a boyfriend or her parents don't want her talking to boys only she can tell you that but there is a reason for her not wanting you to call. So next time you chat just come out and ask. She might be afraid you want more and she's not ready but after 2 years she owes you at least an answer to that question.

I believe I would ask her why she feels uneasy about the two of you meeting face to face. If she is scared bc there are some freaks out there and she wants to make sure your not then ask her to meet in a public resturant in the daytime and tell her to bring a friend along if that would make her feel better. If she still doesnt agree to meet then I would assume she only wants a guy friend and I would not push the relationship issue. Are you positive she is not taken? Those two reason would be the only reasons why she wouldnt meet you unless she has maybe stretched the truth about her looks and is afraid of rejection. If none of these apply then Im confused to!

OK, listen up and try to get this through your addle-brained head. She is not your friend. You have no relationship of any kind with her. In fact, she does not exist. You have spent the past two years making up a fantasy world in which this totally understanding girl is always there for you when you need to vent, unload, whatever. The truth is that she is a total stranger and you know nothing about her. Turn off that computer, mobile phone, etc., go out into the real world and make some real friends.

Yes, call her up, she is nuts if she doesn't want to meet, give her an ultimatum, it is not a real relationship until you guys meet, unless she is hidding something, ask her what it is. And, go from there.

No don't call her up, she could be married. It's possible that she won't meet you because she doesn't think of herself as attractive - those could be anyones photos. Find someone that you can see in person!
