If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called " Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.
have taken the GNC pills for 4 months and supplemented them with extra Biotin because they only have 1200 mcg of Biotin and you should try for a minimum of 2500 micrograms.

I am switching to Procaps labs capsules when I run out of the GNC because Procaps formula has more Biotin in a more pure form with more of the trace elements that support healthy hair growth.

I take about 5000 micrograms which equals 5 milligrams of Biotin daily and my hair is growing fast and thick and dark.

You can use any oil. You must massage the scalp when-ever you can.

Yes.

Massaging the scalp, the process stimulates the scalp, it increases the blood flow in the area , the direct beneficiary is hair, it get more nutrients.

Hair can be oiled at bed time. Use a cap at night to retain the oil. While oiling you can massage the scalp to some extent gently.

Hence enhances the growth.

I suggest you use aloe vera. Aloe vera has been proven to thicken hair. If you can get a hold of the plant then better, just cut a part of it and rub it on your scalp and just massage it onto your entire scalp. If you can't find the plant, just look for a shampoo that has aloe vera and use it religiously. Be careful also with what you apply on your hair, like shampoos, gels, hair dyes if you do use those stuff. Since your hair is thin, you'd want to keep every strand of hair on your scalp, so just use mild stuff on your hair.

Why would you use oil for thick and long hair if your is very short and thin?

Do you mean what oil can you use for "growing" hair long and thick?

If so, there is no way that oil is going to affect hair growth. The best bet is simply is to stay away from perms and hair color and wash and condition your hair with products that are for your hair type.

Avoid any hair oil for thin hair. Seek advice from your hair stylist. I understand Wella has some excellent products that can make your hair looks think without bursting your wallet.

Pure mustard oil worked for me. I am very tardy and cannot keep up with daily beauty routines but putting pure mustard oil in my hair twice a week, leave it there overnight and shampoo hair next morning worked for me. My hair grew from shoulder length to waist length in two years.
