The +1 response would mean that a officer wouldnt fight a gun with a taser. Clenching of the fist is a distinct possibility with taser.

It could but is unlikely.

The muscles to NOT get tight they go limp. Watch taser videos on the Internet everyone falls down like they are made out of jello. When the department I work for got the taser the officers who wanted to carry it had to be shot with it. We tested it out by having officers hold training knifes and training guns to see if they could pull the trigger of a gun or still stab with the knife. They could not, they turned into puddy and dropped what they were holding.

It probably could, depending on how the suspect was holding it and where they were hit. A taser adminsters an electric shock and could cause the nerves to react and curl the fingers.

Yes.
That's why the police wouldn't use their tasers on someone armed with a firearm.
It's not quite as bad as taking a knife to a gunfight, but pretty close.

It could cause the firearm to discharge...however if you have a gun and pull it on a peace officer he or she will not be grabbing for their tazer and my advice to you is to make sure you are God are on good terms because their is a very strong possibility that the two of you will be meeting.

A police Ofc would not respond to deadly force with less than deadly force. In other words the Ofc would not have his Tazer out, but instead his handgun. Officers are trained to respond in accordance with the level of force they encounter. As we call it 1 up.

I would NOT discount this possibility, regardless of what some so called experts say. I think reflex action can cause the gun to go off. Nothing is foolproof.
