If I like a soft cushy mattress, which brand would be the best, and what mattresses are the best.?

I have been a fan of super firm Serta matresses for years until a year ago when we were shopping for a new one. We tried a Sterns & Foster pillow top and I will never go back. It has a pretty firm base, but the pillow top is really thick and super soft. Its like sleeping on a cloud. I am not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for. I don't the really soft matresses where your bottom sinks 6" lower than the rest of your body. If this is what you are looking for, ignore my answer. The one I have keeps your body in alignment, but has a 3" thick top almost like a featherbed. Hope this helps.

I have a King Size Stearns and Foster pillow top which is great by itself but I also put a 4" featherbed on top of it!! Its just like heaven!!

Me too!!! I bought 2 feather mattress toppers and put them ontop of each other making it twice as thick. When I climb into bed, it's so soft and heavenly.
