Any good ideas? I believe in God but not in Christianity.
I believe in reincarnation, every life has a purpose and that there is no real right or wrong, just misunderstanding or misinterpretation to the individuals purpose for God.
I believe that doing the right thing with the information you have is the best that can be expected of a person.
I believe that a spirit chooses to enter this life on earth and the path their life will take. Nothing is an accident or coincidence.

Its a tricky question you ask. Perhaps you could define the initial meeting as a social group? The problem you have is that God already has a set of guidelines and principles and these are in the bible.

If however your have developed your own set of beliefs, and want to encourage others to follow them, you could name the group after yourself? Is it a spiritual quest? You obviously feel the need to be part of or share what you have with others. Perhaps advertise in your local paper some of your beliefs and find a meeting place. Maybe the name of the group and the process could be decisions made by the group. Have you looked at other similar religions with a new age type perspective.

The Christian Essenes believe in all of that even reincarnation. I don't blame you for not believing in the Christ what the So called Christians have made him out to be. The Essenes will make even the worst atheists believe in God. They have the lost teachings that Christ actually spoke. What the Catholics have been hiding from everyone
I am a seeker in truth of all religions I practice Krishna Consciousness, I find it has the most knowledge about God the universe and our purpose and even what we all do in the spiritual world. GO to http://www.stephen-knapp.com for the book The Universal Path to Enlightenment and for the Essenes go to http://www.essene.org

Well, you are one step away from being Muslim. If you are sincere in your faith to God. Then you will read the Qu'ran and see.

016:009] And upon God is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path. But there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind).

[016:010] He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture.

[016:011] With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily, in this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for a people who give thought.

[016:012] And He has subjected to you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for a people who understand.

[016:013] And whatsoever He has created for you on the earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits (botanical life) and from animals (zoological life)]. Verily, in this is a sign for a people who remember.
