What would be the possible genotype(s) of the purple kernels? Explain?

There has to be more info than that!

The only possible explanation I can give would be if you blue kernals with red kernals. If mixed, they could produce purple. The parent kernals could have a mix of dominant and recessive blue and red traits and still produce purple.
