I just want to try something new and i dunoo i guess it looks a lot intimidating.

I mean my goal isnt for the olympics which i know i am too old. But im scared im the only one that majoryly sucks although i am really flexible. I hope that helps somewhat.

You might not be. If you came to our gym we would see what you could do and go from there. It doesn't take a good coach long to tell if you've got a lot of talent or not. You may be too old to compete if you've never done it and too old to get a scholarship at this point but you could still have fun learning to do something new. And it is great exercise. But you can't let your mind run away with your fear. That would probably be your biggest obstacle. You will have to control the fear and intimidation and get over the fact that younger girls will be able to do things you can't. Just remember they are training for it and you haven't. Have fun!

I tried gymnastics for the first time when I was 16. I took it for my gym class in high school. I loved it, even though I wasn't very good at it. I even went to a gymnastics camp that summer. As long as you realize that you won't have the flexibility and strength of the people that have been doing it for years, you should have fun and enjoy it. Just don't expect to be doing things like the Olympic athletes do!

Your never to old to start anything! Good Lord, 80 year old people are heading back to college to get an education! Go for it, Girl!

I'll be honest with you.To become a professional gymnast is a little too late.But it will be very good for your health and you'll have a beautiful ,fit body which is very important for the woman.I'll say go for it.

My aunt just started the gym and she is 49 yrs old
