Sure it is! One of my best friends is a guy. We went to school together and are both married & have children that are friends like we are now. I think it works out fine as long as there is no attraction between the two of you. I look at my friend as a brother I never had. I talk to him & ask him advice about things I would ask a girlfriend. He's great to have around. But.... If there is an attraction there on either one of your parts then that might create a problem but if not then you are one lucky gal to have a close guy friend to talk to!

I once read that for opposite sexes to remain strictky friends they must find sommething repolsive about the other. But experience tells me yes it is possible. I have had 3 male friends that were very close and at times I thought about it most of the time we had the strength to remain friends. One time I did slip with one of them we still talk but it's not the same. Hoope that helps

I think Its possible, but the girl cant be the type of girl that he would normally like/be attracted to. If the girl is kind of tomboyish then it could work out. Or if he just sees her as a little sister type.
for girls, its easier to be-friend the opposite sex without having feelings for them in a non-friend more than friend way.

yes it is possible but under rare circumstances. for example, my husband has no clue whn i girl is hitting on him. it took me 3 months to get his attention (hard work paid off). but not alot of men are like that. as a benefit to me, his best friend-a girl- is from italy and her upbringing does not allow for "friends" to court eachother. like i said. it is rare but it does happen.
but as a general rule in all relationships- if you cannot trust your partner and they cannot trust you, it was not meant to be.

it's of course possible, but more than likely one or both will eventually develop more-than-friends feelings for the other.
