okay, my boyfriend is the greatest guy ive ever met. we've been together for about a year. we're the best of friends, we live together...we like ALL the same things...everything from colors to food to fashion trends, cars, things we want in life, seriously everything...we are the perfect match and everyone thinks so...even both sets of parents. we went ring shopping and everything. HE set "the date". He has even asked me to marry him like 3-4 times. and after our little disagreements he'll ask if i still want to marry him...but never has shoved a ring in my face. what the "F" is his deal??

There's no wrong answer. My fiance proposed to me after a mere 10 months of dating. We're having a long engagement (2.5 years when it's all said and done), but that's because we're saving for the wedding(not having a lavish wedding, just saving so nothing is going on credit cards and so we can build personal savings at the same time) not because we're not ready. Some people wait years to propose, and that's cool too. Everyone is different. But I'm not sure why your boyfriend changed his mind about the future plans. My first thought is that he's suddenly scared of being married for some reason. My second thought is that maybe he's planning a surprise so he's acting like it's not coming. Without knowing you or him, it's impossible to tell.

so you don't have a ring well maybe he can't afford one or maybe your being to nice you should tell him you can't marry him without a ring. let him no he needs to step up. look on the brightside at least you know he's serious about wanting to marry you.

I've been with my guy for 3 years.

Each time I say yes.
Why no ring? He doesn't have the money at all.

'F" for me, is if he's ready.ready means, he's ready to take care of you with your future kids, and ready to support and take the responsibilty as a father because as the head of the family, it's not so easy...there are many duties........that's why he's saying like "f'
