Neither. I choose not to live my life in fear, and there is nothing to fear in death, since death is enivitable.

a very good question. you make me confused to make a choice on which iam more afraid of. Death is unknown factor and who know about what will happen at the time of death and after death, no one has said that experience. But life we are living and have many books explaining it.. In hinduism we pray to God for granting us not to be Born again. So i feel Life should be the one we should be afraid of.

I have lived a life of pain, from being born with legs not quite physically right, to being in two semi truck wrecks, and a prolonged illness from a streptococcus infection of my heart in 1998. Why I haven't died more than once, is anyone's guess, though my grandmother would have said that it is because God don't want me, yet, and the Devil is afraid to take me.
I don't fear death, as I've been close to it more than once and know that there is a resurrection. Will I be resurrected to everlasting life on Earth or to a declaration of judgment? Likely to judgment, after which I will cease to exist, even in the memories of my mother, who I suspect will live through Armageddon.

Life because u never know what is going to happen and according to what u believe ur life decisions affect ur death and what takes place after it. We all know we are going to die. we should live life not because we are afraid of dying but because we are want to make the best with what we are given. And most of us are afraid of failing and making mistakes that we can't correct, or say thing we can't take back. That can make life scary because u know u screwed up and can't fix it.

i fear death, but have always wondered what if what comes after death is more great than life (what if its more than heaven or hell). what if death is where we should be heading to find happiness, and life is just a one big distraction.
don't worry I'm not suicidal, i love life and happy with what life has to offer and am scared of death and losing every one that i love. but some times i wonder... what if death is much more better than life.

I fear neither. That being said, while death is likely to painful; life is likely to be more painful. While I know where I'm going when I die (heaven, yeah!) I don't know where I'm going during my life. While my death will be the start of an unblemished eternity of bliss, my life will be full of failures and suffering.
However, we only get one life, and we are going to have to live with the knowledge of what we did with it for eternity, so I'm trying to make the most of it!

Life. It's filled with endless possibilities, with only one of these being death. The unknown scares me more.
