I had this happen to me once, it was from using a new soap = Dial Anti-Bacterial soap. Did you by any chance use a new type of soap? Anti-bacterial perhaps? If so, stop using it except for maybe hands or feet. The minute I changed back to my regular soap use of Lever or Dove, the rash stopped.

The same exact thing happened to me when I was in college! I tried some "natural" deodorant and broke out in horrible hives. I had to go without deodorant until it cleared up, so I had to take extra showers. I also used hydrocortisone 1% cream and that helped alot. Aveeno makes some that is an anti-itch hydrocortisone that is more soothing. It should clear up quickly but don't use deodorant until it's gone. And then use something expensive like Mitchum, I will never mess with cheap or natural deodorants again!

I always get that when I change deodorant. I have to use the same stuff all the time but occasionally my wife will buy something else that may be on sale and I refuse to use it. It hurts and itches and I don't mind paying the extra 50 cents.

My son got a rash under his arms shortly after changing to a new deoderant. The doctor said that it was a reaction to the new deoderant.

It could be a change in weather if it has gone from summer to winter and the heat is turned on. Tends to dry out the skin. Don't shower with normally hot water. While you are still wet in the shower, slather on lotion on your wet skin. Then dry with towel and again apply lotion.

It may be time for an antibiotic. My daughter used a cream anitbiotic, it took a little longer but safer. She had infected hair folicles, looked bad.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. You need to see a doc.
