i was thinking if i should get layers... i have really straight dark brown hair it's approximately5 - 6 inches long...
1) should i wait till my gets longer... and then get layers...
2) and, is it often that guys get layers done to their hair...
i need to find out quick... =( amanda is getting mad at me... lol
or should i just get a normal haircut... =P

Layers are kinda girly depending on how you want them. Try getting longer layers. They are hardly noticable but will give hair shape and bounce.

Go with the layers! It'll be fun. If layers are new to you, give it a little more time to be appreciated. And do get the semi-layered cut first so it wouldn't be such a surprise. But if it turns bad, there's always another salon/ parlor/ barbershop around.

try something different while its longer. you can try different hairdos all the way until you get to the usual normal short haircut.
if you want it layered, layer it. its just hair, itll grow back
