I'm a 23 year fairly attractive bisexual black male who's from Northern California. I've been searching for a compatiable person for a long while now and its been very fustrating to me and plus I have been going through some personal issues lately.
I have had only two very short relationships with two men, but haven't found any luck yet as of since then. And thats when I was only 16 years of age. I have had some people I liked before, but they always tell me that I'm not there type, not interested or either that I'm too young.
I even met people I really didn't like and told them that I wasn't interested as well because I haven't found Mr. Right. It seems like for other people its easy to find some one right for them and attractive, likes its no big problem, but for me its hard, ver hard and I'm getting upset.
I've seen people I liked, but didnt have the ability to approach them and ask them, so thats my bad.
Don't no what to do next besides wait for him to appear.
Help?

To answer your question first about finding your soul mate, when you are not looking they will turn up. It takes time and alot of patience to find the best person. Have you thought about getting involved with organizations such as PFLAG-Parents Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. The reason I bring this up is because I am a member of PFLAG. I am the parent of a gay adult. And organizations like PFLAG can let you know where to go to meet other people where it is a safe environment instead of just finding someone on line or the bar scene. It might be an alternative for you and if anything you will meet other people that are gay, lesbian, transgendered, bi, straight. It is a safe place and accepting and loving organization. So Good Luck to you.

Soulmate (or soul mate) is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, friendship, love, intimacy, sexuality, and/or compatibility.
A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.
However, not everyone who uses these terms intends them to carry such mystical connotations; they are sometimes used simply as an expression of strong emotional feeling for someone.
Classical – Greek mythology – Originally humans were combined of 4 arms, 4 legs, and a single head made of 2 faces, but Zeus feared their power and split them all in half, condemning them to spending their lives searching for the other half to complete them. This theory was presented as a half-serious story by Aristophanes in Plato's Symposium, after all the participants at the Symposium ("drinking party") were charged to philosophize on the topic of love.
Spiritual and religious – concepts of reincarnation and karma. Soulmates have spent many previous lifetimes together.
Companion soulmate – People with whom one has made a connection
Twin soulmates – Very close friends with whom one has strong bonds.
Twin flame soulmate – A popular romantic belief that there is only one true soulmate.
Scientific soulmate – (If) a relationship can be quantified, and scored according to an internal happiness scale. A scientific soulmate is the person with whom you are the absolute happiest. You would therefore be less happy with any other person in existence.
Balance Partners and Messengers – The people you meet along the way who help you create balance in your life.
Divine Complement – A new colloquialism for a 'match made in heaven', a twin soul, who holds inborn potentials that match and complement one's own and and who is linked eternally through a signature in the heart at the dimension of the spirit.
There is a prevalent concept in some segments of the New Age movement that some "souls" are literally made and/or fated to be the mates of each other, or to play certain other important roles in each others' lives. These souls are thought to have created something in a past life and they have chosen this lifetime to help each other "heal." Following this concept, one can have many soulmates. For example: One could see another person they have never met in this lifetime and instantly hate or love them because of previous interaction(s) with the other in one or more previous lifetimes. The most popular use of this concept is in applying it to those who were loved intimately in other lifetimes which were then found in this one.
Also, being conscious of the "soul mate connection" is not necessary, according to this idea.

i don't know much about bisexual. That could be the problem. Don't take the wrong way. but it would be hard to find for a bisexual. You might have to find one out of your county. Usually most find their soul-mate in a different county or even a different state. Take a cruise for the bisexual. Their you probably find someone. Your soul-mate will come when the time is right.

I hate when people answer this kind of question by saying "stop looking and wait for love to find you." That's the most backward advice ever given. You don't want to die alone and miserable, do you?
I say get out there and keep looking but have fun with it. Dating's supposed to be a fun time in your life. Finding a significant other should be the icing, not the cake. Just know who you are and what you want in life and go after it.

no i do no longer. human beings only ensue to love one yet another and that they had have only as possibly enjoyed somebody else with the comparable characteristics. that's what i think of a minimum of... properly, no longer all human beings is this way, yet i'm particular the final public of the international is, and that makes it fake that soul pals easily exists because of the fact we would all have one if there have been temporarily, i do no longer think in love.

You have to open yourself up more. My sister wasn't looking to date but she met this guy and wasn't attacted to him at first (wasn't her type) but now they're totally in love because she's an open-minded person and didn't dismiss him immediately.
