"On top of that you would watch good, peaceful, and caring people burn in hell while everyone around you saying they chose and deserve it"
Yeah, I know what you mean. It amazes me how many Christians don't seem to care about that, or at least, how many don't look at it from that perspective. I can't imagine being able to enjoy "eternal paradise" while millions of other great, moral people (who unfortunately happened to be non-Christian) are burning eternally beneath me; I don't care if they "chose it" or not.
But my position is this: I try my best to ignore "fundies" and "Bible thumpers" and people like Pat Robertson in this world, so why would I want to spend my entire afterlife in a world where there's nothing BUT those kinds of people? That doesn't sound like "Heaven" to me.
Edit: Agreed 100% with gorgeoustxwoman.

Ya, if that's your thinking,
but your wrong.
These are people God changed into good people, You don't get it do you.
I do, and I tell you, there in the image of God, they picked up on his life, and not there own.
Paul if you read his life in Acts, you need too, it tells just how Jesus changed him, then what he did for God.
Look up the life of Saul, he was a murder of Christan's, he took them to Rome, and killed them, for Gods sake, the god of Rome that is. One day, Jesus after he died met him on the road, and blinded him for three days, and asked why do you persecute me Saul? Then his name was changed from Saul to Paul. He became on of the most radical people that saved more lives, and opened more Churches for Christ in that time.
These people are the same, if you have never had your Spirit turned inside out by God, ya, it sounds dumb, but when you have felt the power, and wonderful life that goes into your body when God calls your name for salvation, then and only then will it make since. Its hidden to you. God did it that way.
So all I can say is this, YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS PLACE, its awesome,

What creates the need for these "lustfull desires" as you call them? dont you think that might have somthing to do with being "flesh and blood"? once your spirit parts from the realm of flesh you wouldnt have those "desires anymore. as a matter of fact your soul dosent have wants or needs. once you leave the flesh you are no longer male or female, rich or poor, black or white, catholic or buddist, (starting to get the idea yet?) I ask you, Without a physical form, what kind of "desire do you exspect to have?

Thank you for being intelligent. God makes sense and since the bible isn't making since any more we have to understand that those parts are not God. The Bible is doing more harm than good being that most is Paul's teachings (70%) who didn't even know Christ and he pretended to be a Christian in fear of Gods wrath for killing Christians. Also King Constantine took out everything to do with Karma Reincarnation and Vegetarianism. And so many mistranslations. No one can understand the unlimited mercy and love of God without understanding Reincarntioan and Karma. If you want to know who is really going to heaven and that no one goes to hell eternally and all the truths. go to http://www.essene.org and find the lost teachings of Christ what the Catholic church does not want you to know

Let's see …
Spend eternity in the presence of God’s amazing love. What we sense from the Spirit is only a hint, a whiff of the power of God’s love. But imagine being enveloped in that love for eternity!
Or
Spend eternity in the complete absence of God’s love. Alone. Completely alienated from all sense of love and belonging.
It really is your choice.

At this point I'd actually prefer the hell that Christians like talking about. It's filled with people who knew they did wrong and didn't turn to god to forgive them for their actions, they stood up and took responsibility for what they did. Those who can't handle the punishment beg forgiveness and get into heaven for being weak.

You forgot about your delightful cherubs, the monsters with four faces, man-like bodies, hooves, four wings, multiple hands who have lightning jumping off their bodies. And six-winged seraphim who chanted without ceasing, "Holy, holy, holy" all day, all night, 24/7.

Only 144,000 faithful spirit anointed disciples of Christ are going to heaven to serve as priests and kings, the rest of righteous mankind will dwell upon the earth forever. The wicked will be removed. I see that the unbelievers are back, can't handle the truth can you? Just like the Bible says; that there will be a time when they will not put up with the heathful teachings of the truth and will gather unto themselves, teachers who will tickle their ears. In other words; they just want to hear what is pleasing to themselves even though it's not the truth.

God doesn't care how "moral" you are, reject Christ now and He will reject you later, simple gospel truth
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; NO ONE comes to the Father but by Me.
