We just got approved notice (NOA2) in October 24th and now waiting to get the package 3. Do you know how long does it take for this process? Not recieve notice letter from NVC yet though.

It can sometimes take a few weeks for the NVC to forward your file to the Consulate/Embassy and then for the Consulate/Embassy to mail out your Packet 3.
You can call the NVC at 603-334-0700 to find out the status of your file, but you will need to talk to an operator, K-1's aren't entered into the automated system.

It depends on where your fiancee is coming from. In Mexico, at least when my fiance & I went through the process we were told he didn't have to wait for the package with the appointment letter to come in the mail. He just took the approval notice to the consulate to get his visa. Call the consulate and see if she has to wait for an appointment or if she can just walk in and get it. Our story didn't end well at the consulate even though we ended up together and are very happy. Hopefully you will have better luck.

all i can tell you is be patient and it will happen and it is sure to take longer than a couple of weeks--but call the immigration toll free telephone number and i'm sure they can tell you.
