You can try Valerian root, which is a natural remedy. I don't recommend booze, pot or any other depressant. There is a product called Calm Forte, also a natural remedy made up of herbs that produces relaxation. Another thing to try is a form of yoga, called Prana Yoga. Physical exercise helps too. So does breathing...try this...exhale all your breath. Then inhale as much as you can in through your nose for 8 counts, then hold your breath for 4 counts, then exhale through your mouth for 7 counts. Do this several times and you will naturally be more at ease. Try it. It helps.

I don't know of any pill-form remedy but I do know whoever you are speaking to sits on the toilet and passes waste just like you and me. Don't let those people gain that control over you. Get up there after you've practiced a few times alone and deliver that speech like it's nothing. Best to you!

You might think this is strange, but it's true. I'm very used to speaking in front of people. One time, I got that freak-out nervous thing going, and I couldn't get it to stop. I took an extra vitamin B, and I could FEEL myself just getting it back together. I gave a B to a friend who was going on a job interview, he said he felt like a rock....solid the whole time. Try it!

no over the counter remedies, but try some relaxation techniques like deep breathing and visualization...practice them before the event for optimal results...if that doesnt work than go for the jack daniels...

ask at a health food store, there are all sorts of herbal remedies for nerves. Some works, some are placebos (which usually work anyway, since anxiety is typically all in your head.)

I suggest you speak to a pharmacist at a local drugstore and they are usually most helpful. Take a deep breath and imagine everyone is naked in the audience...that's how I used to overcome the fear of speaking to a crowd.
