Put the Bong down, if you wanna "Think" this much about Cartoons you have no life. Here this will keep you busy for a week. "If the "Coyote has enough money to buy all that stuff from "Acme" why doesn't he just go out to a nice dinner, or hire someone to hunt the Roadrunner for him?" Wow mind blower huh? Also why doesn't the coyote put drugs in the birdseed he puts on the road instead of the BB'S he hopes his oversized Magnet will attract. Their Cartoons thats why.

Because if he didn't do that, young readers would do the same home ! Also, because if he didn't do that, his actions wouldn't seems "human-like" enough, and the readers will not enjoy his actions as much as they do. One of the basis of Donald character success is precisely his human like comportment.

he's a modest fellow and while he is going out he wears his shirt and hat, yet after a advantageous bathe he would desire to cover something. Daisy and Minnie can't see each little thing suddenly that is indecent.

Hehe, just animated humor! :-)
They do this in other cartoons too, like Spongebob... it just adds to the hilarity (if that's a word)
