It sounds like you have a lot going on, and grief is one of those things. Feeling sad and down is normal after losing someone. Depression can certainly be caused by unresolved grief, as can increased stress, such as health problems, loss of friendships, low self esteem. I would say go talk to someone. Talking to a good therapist can help you work through the grief, the stress of losing loved ones, the stress of health problems. When alot of things happen at once, or one after the other, we often have a hard time coping with it all. Having someone to talk to can help you feel better, help you figure out ways to cope with all the things going on in your life. Sometimes, when we have too much going on, we feel that no one cares about us. It's usually not entirely true. It could just be that you need some extra attention now and haven't been able to tell anyone that. Find someone you can talk to...at school, or at church, tell a parent, or talk to your family doctor.

Honey if everyone is ignoring it is probably because they are also mourning the loss of your uncle.
You could try some St. Johns Wort, it is for depression and is all natural and sold over the counter if you don't want to go on meds. But if you get any more depressed than you are already you should at least think about going to see a Therapist they cannot dispense medication but if the depression is unmanageable you may have to see a Psychiatrist for medication to help you feel better. I hope that things get better for you. Good Luck

OK, putting forth answers to this sort of thing often seems useless to the questioner because there is attachment to one's state: "I'm me, not you," etc. I speak from some experience on the matter. It is true that this kind of stuff passes, everything does, but you are not interested in that right now. Whatever you do, don't just do nothing but soak in depression. Can you whistle? I have a theory that one cannot whistle & remain depressed. Can you sing? Even without singing, which has the valuable self-activity aspect, just listening to music is powerful. Music is mysterious. I wouldn't recommend just any music, some is psychically low, but you'll have to handle that for yourself. Doing something is good, especially showing care & attention to others. Read Anne Lamott's autobiographical books.

Depression can be caused by chemical imbalances in our body. Some medications help, some do not at all. The best way for you to handle this is to seek professional help. This way, you may be able to voice out all of the events that led to your condition and the doctor or psychologist will be able to prescribe a plan to treat your condition. Good luck.

Find a support group in your area. Attend them regularly. You will not feel alone in time. When you have had most of your depressive thought unloaded, (perhaps in 1 yr or so), you will gain back some emotional strength to take up a hobby, create things, work, get training etc...
One day at a time ...

It may sound strange but take Vitamin B6. It's inexpensive at any drug store. It's only a vitamin and it is a great mood elevator and it also relieves PMS.
But, you need to know that several people in this world care about you more than you would ever know.
But you have to be open to it.
God bless, and get well soon.
See, we didn't ignore you!

Say to your-self : And this too will pass.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons they are vexations to the spirit.
If you com-pare your-selves with others you will become vain and bitter, because always they will be greater and lesser persons than your-selves.
Try not to get worried, try not to turn on to problems which upset you.
Find a nice, interesting book to read, it can cheer you up.The Bible is still the best book of all.

If you weren't depressed before all on this happened, it will pass, you need to talk to a friend or a family member, if you don't have anyone to talk to and you are still having a really hard time, go talk to a teacher at school or if your an adult talk to a counselor or therapist....good luck.
