Tramadol is the generic form of Ultram. It is a class 4 narcotic & thus is still able to become habit forming. Lortabs are a different drug, although both are used to teat pain, lortabs do a better job because they are indeed stronger.

No lortabs are have more pain killer in them,But tramadol in not habit forming.

It may help w/ the pain like lortab.. but will you get that good feeling like lortab??? No...not at all. However it does help w/ withdraw symptoms from narcotics.

I don't think their would be any complications. They are both pain killers, the only real difference is Lortab is a narcotic

To me it does the same only does not put me to sleep.

no they are different drugs with different side effects.
