Don't know. I have never heard of Gaines burgers.

Gaines Burgers was a type of dog food. I remember those very well back in the 1970's When I was in High school...many many moons ago I watched a buddy of mine when we got wasted one night... fried up one and ate it. He had the munchies really bad.
He ended up throwing up big time.

I don't know what happened to them, they probably got bought out by another company. I remember them quite well from the 70's. As a child i always hung up a stocking for my dog at Christmas. I would keep count of how many were in the box and some how my dog always had one in his stocking Christmas morning. Unfortunately, my parents are no longer alive to ask how they pulled it off every year.
