just general politeness. Please and thank you or at least thanks when appropriate. Not talking about nasty, gross, or lewd things in front of mixed company. Office mainly just keep it light and professional...gossip to a minimum at least too. school, appropriate speak and dress for the age group...especially if you are a teacher. And at home just the general common sense.

Good manners is staying within the threshold of comfort set by polite society. As to what they are, you'll have to be more specific and give a certain situation for us to tell you whether or not it was good manners.

First I would say responding when someone says hi. I say hi to people and they just look at me like Im speaking some other language. It is sad because it happens all the time, It is like they are caught off guard that I even spoke to them and just look at me crazy. Holding doors open for people, saying excuse me if you bump into someone, saying thank you and welcome, and also chewing with your mouth closed are big ones for me.

"good manners" are... not being rude/ inconsiderate. this question is too vague, you have to give an example.

Please and thank you. If people demand things you know they are short on manners.
