Well "Thuggy J"...I have never had any problems with the cops being jittery and trigger happy. But then again I really don't give them any reason to be. Wazzzup wit dat buoyyy!!!!

Because they deal with the lower 5% of society everyday. Criminals who are armed. Druggies that are so wigged out they have no idea what they are doing. People overall are very dangerous and nothing can be taken for granted when you patrol the streets. They protect their life first. They shoot to kill not to wound.

They would like to go home to thier families after thier shift. Watch Cops a few times. You will be shocked at how many criminals come out of thier car with the gun ready to go.

Probably because they face a large population of crazy people who would shoot them without batting an eye. The police forces in America are, almost universally, great. But the criminals are better armed and have no compunction in killing a police officer. They are protecting themselves.
