I don't know which one you are talking of, but the Vedic Scriptures says that the Super Soul That's God) dwells in the heart of every living entity.(That's Us) Its the same thing. The Essenes is the same in every bonafide scripture. Krishna says in the Gita "Whenever there is a decline in religious principals and the truth appears to be lost I appear again and again or send my representative to reestablish the truth." So they all come from Him But due to misinterpretations and mistranslations and things taken out the truth appears to be lost. So He has to send another one.
