How do you tell a man you want to be with him in an indirect non forward way trying not to scare him off?

I talk to this guy. I've known him every since I've been 13. I like him and you can tell he has feelings for me. He's the type to hide his feelings in order to protect himself from being hurt. I'm kind of tired of playing this role of cat and mouse. We talk late at night all the time but i don't really express our true feelings. I'm the same way sort of but i don't want to be the first one to confess my feelings. Tell some advice

try jokeingly asking him at an appropriate time "do you think we'll ever hook up in the future?" just see what he says.. if he's interested he'll probably respond with some smart *** comment, but listen to what he says, and believe him. he'll be telling you the truth.. if he says" you know we will cause no body else will want either of us" then know that that's a positive answer. if he says something more like "i guess when we're 75 if neither of us is married we'll hook up" then know that he's still wanting to look around, but he probably wants to keep you close by so in case he needs you later, you' won't be snached up by someone else. also, there is a (small) chance that he may respond in a mature serious way and say " i've thought about it, what do you think"or "ya, i kinda figured we'll end up together when the time is rite" or something real and sensitive. if tha'ts the case, he's inviting you into a conversation- talk it out and he'll be able to answer your question. good luck hun

I would not advice throwing your feelings out there - do something physical see where that goes, is the chemistry there? might be all wrong, men are famed for not picking up on a womans 'signals' or maybe they do and just like the ego trip of having a woman fancy them. Oh I don't know such a big subject. Good luck with it anyway

You know, this kind of torment when it comes to love is absolutely delicious... BUT if you play it out too long, you may end up being miserable soooooo.... relieve the tension and just tell him simply, quietly and sincerely. You have no control on whether or not he will get scared off or not so just don't worry about it.

Confess what you are feeling. Don't try to wait for the fairy tale or the dime store novel that reads the man figures it out and declares his love........DON'T FALL FOR IT!!! Tell this man how you feel. Of course he is guarding his feelings, but he needs to know and you need to know that no has never hurt anyone. It doesn't matter who does it, just do it.

Hi Try using a story to get your point across. Something like: I once was at the beach, etc. etc. and saw a couple looking at each other's eyes, or something like that.

Girl, don't be scared. Don't make the same mistake as what I did. Go tell him. If he loves you, he will be proud of what you did.

As a guy, I would say it is quite possible that he is holding his feelings back because he is worried about rejection from you and possibly spoilingthe friendship. If you really like him there is nothing wrong with you making the first move.

ok , adult adult males dont like women throwing themselves at them . now , in case you're warm adequate / warmer than this guy , you are able to supply him THE seem once you spot him , he will understand , or make up any reason to chat to him , something no longer convening , it's going to be oblique and subtle , then you quite can tell him which you like him . in case you weren't warm adequate , nonetheless you are able to supply him THE seem , and consult with him , yet dont tell him which you like him till he does .
