Yes, white flour has lots of non-nutritive carbs & calories. But, as with anything you eat, no food is truly fattening unless you eat lots of it & also, how much you ate of it that day or on an ongoing basis. It also depends on how many carbs or calories that you ate on the day that you had the crackers. I've read that diet colas can contribute to trouble losing weight. Don't remember the reason, sorry. This answer would also have to do with how many you drink. I do know that they are extremely unhealthy though because of the acidity plus, plus, plus. etc.

You need to read the nutritional information on the side of the box. There are salt-free, fat-free, and low calorie saltines.

there salty and processed not really nutritious. and don't have any fiber to speak of. white and wheat (carmel dyed white breads and bakery) are crap.
whole wheat or rye or mulitgrain crackers and breads are way better!

Anything with salt can make you retain water which will make you feel and sometimes look fat even when your not.

they have a couple of differant ones there is one that has no fat or no salt .they have them at most markets.
