Thou shalt not have any Gods before me.
Thou shalt not kill.
How is it that human beings should kill and then idolize the prophet that they killed?
I honestly don't understand the Christian logic.

Matthew 5:17-19 (New King James Version)

17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

There are many references in the Bible that Jesus did not come to abolish the laws but to confirm them. I hate that people say we dont follow the old testament. It is thier book. Considering I have studied religions and know that people are so silly in saying that the old testament doesnt apply after Jesus came. And no he was not God. God is God, Jesus was a human. Thats it. He was a prophet sent to the "Lost sheep of Isreal", he doesnt say he is God. There are so many contradictions in the Bible it is unbelieveable really. God does not contradict himself. God has no flaws and was never a human and was not killed. How in the world will God die, he is infinate. It doesnt even make sense if people would really think about it. Good luck with your quest

By the way he didnt die for mankinds sins anyhow. We are accountable for what we do. So when people worship Jesus they are sinning, and will have to aswer for that sin. Good thing I only worship Allah, God. And not a person. whew!!!

Do you think that the people who killed Jesus went to heaven? No! If you want to get technical with it....you don't worship Jesus. You worship God the father and you praise Jesus for giving up his life so that we can have a second chance. This is why you ask Jesus for forgiveness. The bible says...we serve a jealous God...this is why thou shalt not have any Gods before him. But you do recognize Jesus b/c if it had not been for him then you wouldn't be alive. God had already destroyed the earth one time and this is why the second time we have to make sure we know Jesus if we want to go to Heaven. Not just know him but have a personal relationship with him!!

The Bible talks of the sacrifices God has required since Adam ate the apple. These sacrifices were to atone for sins we've committed. (We ask God to forgive us for our wrongs).

Jesus was the final sacrifice God required. (That is why Christians don't do sacrifices like the Old Testament people did). Since God is pure and Holy, we cannot commune with Him unless Jesus is standing in front of us. It's like Jesus became the defending lawyer on our behalf. He pleads our case to God and God forgives us because Jesus stands there.

Jesus' death was clearly spelled out many times in the Old Testament. God/Jesus knew this ultimate sacrifice had to happen for humanity to be made right with God again (ie made righteous), as we were in the beginning, before the apple. Jesus' death restored our relationship, as long as we have faith in Jesus' sacrifice & what it means for us.

Humans killed Jesus, yes. It was a horrible thing. The ones that did it never idolized Him. Or if they did, it was after the fact, when it was too late (as with the Roman centurian at Jesus' cross).

The OT laws were for the jews and the NT was when Jesus came on the scene. He came to abolish the old laws and put into effect the new ones the primary law can be found in Mark 12:30-31

It's not logic. Christ did not have to die for our sins. Though it was profasiced and it did show his great mercy. Christs teachings are the way to be saved. This fanatical thing that all you have to believe that he is the son of god is mans interpertation. Believing means following He said" GO and sin no more" Why would he say that if all we have to do is believe. The fact is practically no one knows Whwt Christ actually said due to so many mistranslaions and things taken out of the bible. Paul never even met Chriet and He pretended to be a Christian if fear of Gods wrath yet he wrot 70% of the Bible. Thats Paulianity. The Christian Essenes have the lost teachings of Christ. They believe in Reincarnaion and Vegetarianism acording to Christs actual teachings. Don't be affraid to keep questioning the things that don't make sense. God actually makes sense

Didn't you have rules in your house when you grew up? Did you follow them all the time, never breaking any?

Think of the ten commandments as a guide to how humans are to live here on earth to attain peace. Don't beat yourself up over not getting it, look at the world and all the wars your obviously not the only one who doesn't get the killing thing right.

Jesus came to establish the law, and His coming was prophecied and all that was written by the prophets as inspired by our Father was fulfilled and He is the only one who was resurrected from the dead and walked the earth. All will be clear when He returns to judge the earth, and establish God's rule here on Earth, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We pray it everytime we say the Lord's prayer. Amen.

Primo, your understanding of "Chirtian Logic" would be very difficult when you have already blinded yourself with your prejudice.

Secundo, even in the Qua'aran which you, obviously, subscribe to, He is not called a "Prophet", but the "Massihe" or "Messian".

Terrio, we did not kill Him; ergo, that part of your question just became irrelevant.

Quarto, you probably forgot this but Jesus said "Forgive them, Father! For they know not what they do!" Ergo, the absolution from the Commandments.

Cinquo et finale, you are obviously unaware of the warning in the Qua'aran where Muhammed said "Those that blaspheme Him[referring to Jesus], blaspheme me and those that blasphe me, blaspheme God!" The sentence for that, incidentally is Death, by Islamic Law.

Pax Vobiscum, Pax Dominic.

Yes. You're right. And you are being honest. You don't understand it. Most people don't.

Send for my free Catholic Resource CD and you'll have all the facts that explain how and why "the peculiar theology of redemption" actually works to save souls.

First: Jesus is God and God is Jesus and they are both the Holy Spirit through the Holy Trinity. That is NOT having another God. they are all one in the same while being separate. you're right, thou shalt not kill. those that killed Him were not following His commandment. I did not kill Him, i believe in Him. those that did kill Him obviously did not follow the commandment nor believe in Him. you cant group all human beings like that. we did not all collectively kill our Lord and Savior... He suffered under Pontius Pilate.

He said he added another commandment above all others..."Love one another, as I have loved you."

I think it is just something people believe in because they feel like it is right.

They don't understand anyone else's logic and are even intolerable, that is why I am not christian. And the hypocracy (however you spell it).
