Tell him the truth, look I'm sad, and it not your fault, it is life, I do love you and I appreaciate you standing by my side. I'll tell you things and all I want you to do is listen and share your thoughts with me. You don't have to solve my problems, and I'm not asking you to. i just want you to know that despite all the mess going on in my life right now I cherish "our" like and I am happy and lucky to have you, so please be the strong guy for me that I know you are and stand by me while i go threw this just like I will do for you some day.

All realationships have thier rough spots, just tell him that it isnt him, if he is actually worth your time he will sit and listen to how you feel and realize you need some one to lean on and help deal with the stress. Just tell him that it isnt him its stress.

say EXACTLY that.

Tell him that you love him and that you're really glad he's there for you..because you're having a tough time with family. Hopefully he will understand and will stand by you in your time of need...and things will get better from there.
