Expired pills?

Question

How long does it take for Ibuprofin and Lortab's to expire?
And if taken even though they are expired what could happen?

ibuprofen expires after about 2-3 years...i don't know about Lortab's but i imagine the same...nothing happens with expired medication...it just kinda loses it's kick...it's a lower dose...it's still ok to take you just need to take more...if you normally take 2-3 ibuprofen you may need to take 4 or 5...i take expired ibuprofen because we buy it in bulk and it's not all used before the expiration date...and nothing has happened to me...it' still relieves my headache or cramps..or whatever i'm taking it for..

Awww something like that will be good for years past the expiration date. Some things you have to be careful about though. Some drugs will get stronger. Some drugs will get weaker. Some can become poisonous. I had some Darvon that were 12 years old. I found them when I moved a few months ago. Being the person I am, I took one when I had a killer headache. It worked great. I've since taken them all. Call me stupid. But they worked. I've had a family member give me expired drugs 4 years old. He's a doctor. So you should be ok. But don't sue me if you die. =)

i dont know maybe after a year or certain mount of months but dont take pills that are expired because they are toxic.

All medication has expirery dates on them. They don't work as well.

for those to medicines, I would say they would just loss there straight. Call your Physician, or your Pharmacist or look on the net type in the name of the meds not the genreric name.
