you talk to various people, and when you find common interests or personalities that get along well, you end up talking more, which can lead to going out and doing things and having fun together. I dont go out looking for friends. The best friends are the ones that you become friends with without even realizing it. For some its easier than others. I am shy a bit so i can sometimes find it harder than the social butterflies to make friends. However i would rather have a few friends that i know really well, than a lot of friends i hardly know at all.
Also try not to judge people at first. I used to work with this girl that i thought was so annoying and kind of a b**ch. She didnt like me then either. She didnt have a ride home from work one day, and it was on my way so i offered to take her home anyway. She found another ride, but we started talking, and we have been best friend for the past 4 years.

It depends on your personality. I have a girlfriend who is so open that she finds friends everywhere. Case in point: one of her good friends is a guy that she met on the street one day when she was walking by his truck while he was working for a moving company!
If you aren't quite as open as my friend, you can simply look around at the people that you interact with on an everyday basis, and be kind to them. You can ask people to eat lunch with you, or share common interests together. It's not too hard, and many people will respond when you show interest in them.

depends on who you r looking for . anyone specific or you just want a new batch of friends. I recently tried to reach out to the public for answers like this but no one wants to respond probably cause I'm a lady and they think I m gay or something close but i want a new bunch of women to hang with who have some of the same goals i have and aspirations no more than that. I'm strictly into men

Treat the person as you would like to be treated. Do things for that person that would please yourself BUT remember to pay attention to the unspoken body language so if your advances in any way are not unwanted. It's not easy making friends, but there is a way to do it! Keep trying!

I guess you don't, friendship finds you. The trick is not to make judgements too quickly based on your "friend criteria". Allow yourself to discover others and for them to discover you.

u find a friend by, going out in the public and saying "hi i'm ___ and u are?; do u wanna be friends?" and then u'll meet a friend.
