Which is better in your opinion?
And which is better in function.
Firefox or IE

IE Pros: Highly compatible with majority of internet sites; certainly much more that either Firefox or Opera.

IE Cons: If you do any web coding, it treats CSS a bit strangely; higher risk of security vulnerabilities

FF Pros: Great use of tabs to contain multiple different open websites simultaneously; there are many, many "extensions" that add some impressive functionality to FF (like for delicious tags, or mouse button customization, rss feeds, etc.); more secure (though mostly due to it's relatively low market penetration - less users mean a smaller target, which is less attractive to would-be evil-doers).

FF Cons: If you visit media intense websites, it chokes frequently on videos, requiring a restart of FF; can be a bit of a resource hog (taking up a lot of memory)

I honestly use both. Both have benefits and drawbacks, but I do prefer FF for most of my browsing needs. Why choose just one?

I used IE for years, and finally forced myself about 8 months ago to Firefox because of all the security vulnerabilities in IE.

I love Firefox. I'm mad at myself for not switching earlier.

Positives for Firefox: Extensions (!!), open source, intuitive design, no ActiveX vulnerabilities, and great tab system. Functionally nearly identical to IE, with the one exception of no ActiveX support (which, in my opinion, is a major plus).

Negatives for Firefox: I honestly haven't found any, other than a bit of a learning curve when you switch from IE. Very minor though.

IE. wasn't all that thrilled about firefox. think its a little overrated. i'll stick with my old IE. works for me.
