shopping is everywhere in hong kong. cheap clothes are mostly in mongkok. you can go to tsim sha tsui (star computer city) and nathan road for electronics. apliu street has 2nd hand electronics. you have to be extremely careful in buying, they might trick you also to of course cover their rental fee. hehe. broadway and fortress are popular because they are chain stores. higher price a bit but safer. causeway bay has everything, both clothes and electronics (try square computer place). you may want to get a tour package to see the places. hong kong island or kowloon island. depends where you are. hong kong island has aberdeen, victoria peak, ocean park. kowloon has the palaces, temples. Plus, there are other islands too. so confusing. and yeah, hong kong disneyland. the shopping areas are the tourist attractions actually.

Wow. . . .Hong Kong is such a wonderful place for shopping, even the blind can do it there without guide.
For cheap stuff, go to the ladies market, or man's market. Many kind of goods to buy.
Generally, things are much cheaper in SHenZhen, just about an hour of train ride. But it is far more dangerous. Go there only if you are good in bargaining.
Else, stay in Hong Kong. Things are slightly (about 5 to 50%) expensive, but the feeling of shopping is good.
Enjoy your time.
(If it is my wife, she will go with only what she wear, and 2 empty bags. She will ocme back with 3 load full!)

for cheap cloths go to temple street in yau ma tai. better selection then lasy's street in mongkok. for electronic goods go along mongkok's sai yeung choi street if you are more adventureous..go to along Fa Yuen street btw Soy street and Argyle Street. you should be able to find some good deals..
you can also go to ApLiu Street in Sham Shui Po. The MTR can take you there.
Tourist spots are the peak via tramway
star ferry ports wan chai, central to/from tsim sha tsui
Stanley district, Causeway bay, Lan Kwai Fong.
if you have time you have to take a day trip to Macau and ride on the turbojet..
you should be able to get a tourist map at the hotel conceriege.
