I am sorry to hear about all your pain..you never forget the one you love..even if he has abused you...you have to remember that regardless of what you said or did..no man..even your spouse has the right to hit you..a true man does not hit a woman ever...you have figure out in your heart to forgive him and move on with your life.

Even if you are over 50 and you are thinking this is the end for you, IT IS NOT. You have been through a lot and that is why you invested so much in this person. But this also makes you a loving and strong lady. What happens to people like you is that when they break down they break down so hard that they cannot see the ways they have been benefitted in the situation. You will find out in a few months how strong and loving you have grown again when some other people are going to enter you life.

I am your age and have also been thru life's stuff...the 1st thing you need to do is stop, look up and invite Jesus into your life. He loves you, died for you and wants to know you. He will never dissapoint you, leave you or break your heart. Please work on your heart for awhile. Get to know who you are and who Jesus planned for you to be. There is a plan and it's time you get invested. Once you are grounded and feeling better about yourself, you will never understand how it is you thought you loved someone who abused you. I promise you a better life and when the time is right, a better person to spend your time with. God is calling to you - pay attention. He loves you, now love yourself enough to answer Him. It'll all work out better than you can possibly imagine. signed, a sister in Christ. :)

Stop being a victim and get on with your life, 1st find a distraction and then other things will come up and you can focus your attention elsewhere. GET OUT OF THE VICTIM MODE!!! NOW !! write down lifelong goals and pray then set about achieving them. age is nothing but a number, many successful people have started from scratch and when crisis befell them, it was their attitude to get thru that crisis that helped them achieve what was lost. please help yourslef to take back your power and get the life you deserve
peace always and good luck

U can't trust me I've tried and it doesn't work to try to forget about that person. It just takes time to get over that person.

if he has broken your heart and trust then he isnt worth your attention or worth you thinkin bout. try hanging round your friends that make you feel good. think good things. take a long nice soothing bubble bath or read a good book. or get another man that will make you feel good. then see what happens.

dont think like that. you have to move on take your experience from the relationship and learn from them. find something to keep you busy so you won't think about him. not all men are bad
