Yes, and it knocked the breath out of me. I was at a tournement. I tried my best to suck it up and face my opponent. That was hard since I couldn't breathe much at all. I kept standing and had my guard up just in case the person would strike again.
Let's just say that getting the breath knocked out of you is not very fun, lol.
From then on I always try to remeber to breathe out when I get punched in my gut. This way it won't be as bad. =)

I got hit by a soccer ball in the chest once. It was lousy. I fell onto the ground and couldn't breathe. I didn't "cry" like you do when you are sad, but hot tears poured out of my eyes. (Which made my nose all runny - yuck.)
It took several minutes for me to regain my breath.
Sorry, I can't recall a lot more detail - this was some time ago.
(Okay, so I'm curious, why do you ask? From what I've been told, it is a lot worse for a guy to get hit in the nads than this is for a girl - because the nerve endings are more sensitive and close together. But, I'd never do either deliberately to anyone. Or are you one of these folks writing a story this month and wanted some insight?)

Yes but I haven't been punched.I climbed a tree when I was little and when I wanted to go back down,my leg skipped and I fell.Though it wasn't very high,I landed hard on my stomach and for a few seconds I couldn't breed.I got really scared and there wasn't anybody near but after 2 or 3 minutes I got up and I went in the house.I hadn't told anybody about this cause I think my grandma would have killed me.The next day,I climbed again on that tree but this time I was more care full.

Every time I see "girls only", it's a sure call "there's something interesting for guys here". This is the first time it failed. Anyway, I haven't really been punched in the stomach. Got kicked plenty of times though. You walk around taekwondo for several years - you'll get used to it. So I did too. Now if the hit is hard enough, at first it just feels like dying is the only thing you find attractive. Then, after it gets easier to breathe, you start looking for the a$$hole who kicked you. After that, you get tired of running around after him. Well, no, not really. (Sh) It happens, so as long as somebody didn't deliberately try to hurt you - don't mind it. Otherwise rip his/her head off and eat it for breakfast. Meh, I'm a little lousy at giving peaceful comments at midnight.

not punched, but a pushkick to the stomach before.. yeah hurt a bit but I was too busy trying to breathe to really notice the pain, It caused me to get winded, and then I started to panic when I did try to breathe the first few times after the kick and actually couldn't get any air down, I just got a wierd burning sensation.. but after say 20 seconds I was able to start breathing normally again... Now I try to anticipate getting attacked in the stomach region and tense my abs just before contact and step back with the Punch/Kick.. this stop's me from getting winded help me keep my balance and hurts less..

It knocked the breath out of me and my reaction was to fall over until I could breathe again and get back up and kick the guys as s.Why would it be any different than the male experience?
