All religions are divided into different denominations, sects, cults, schools, etc.

So why is it, whenever the subject of world religions come up, it is almost always the divisions within Christianity that get emphasized, while the divisions within other faiths are ignored?

Because with Christianity it is much worse. Christianity has almost 10,000 denominations (at least ones with over 500 followers). Judaism has 3 main sects (Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform). Islam has three main sects as well, Sunni, Shi'a, and Sufi. Baha'i Faith has only one splinter sect, the Orthodox Baha'i Faith. Hinduism has two main branches, Vishnaism and Shaivism.

Bcoz, the other religion and its subgroups accept that there is more than one way to achieve eternal happiness and such.
Wherelse, the individual subgroups of Christianity holds on to their own central beliefs, resulting in a lot of infighting. That's where all the actions are.
