I noticed a certain car company that offers a 10year/100k powertrain warranty. the problem is... that car company sucks. What others?

We have a 99 Elantra with 119,000 miles and have only used the warranty once for a power window concern, in 7 years. Hyundai has come a long way since the Excel and the Scoupe, I would not hesitate to purchase another Hyundai if it gives the same service as the one we have now.

It offers several brands including Chevy, Buick, Pontiac, Cadillac, GMC, Saturn, Hummer and Saab.

omg, yeah what a dilemma. i thought about that a few years ago. for me it was hyundai. they are a throw away car, however, i think that several "good" manufacturers make a throw away car so why not get one that is at least going to last 100k. they were selling some here a while ago with hail damage...$7k...i think if appearance isnt important, and all you want is reliable transportation...7k for 100k miles is a good deal. my brother in law just bought 2 hyundais though after already owning several in the past...he loves them...i probably wont change my mind about them though.

Kia, Hyundai and VW are the best new car warranties. As far as Hyundai being a throw away car, they have changed DRAMATICALLY over the years and actually rate quite high now in satisfaction and reliability.
