x-ray technician?

i want to be a x-ray tech and i have to research them for a project at school.
i wanted to what your daily scedule is(including times)
the personal rewards of the job

I am interested in being a radiology technololgist as well. The hours vary depending on which area you work in. If you specialize in CT, or MRI, etc, you will have better and more straight forward hours, but if you do trauma X rays, you will have bad hours. Some challenges that radiologic techs experience are getting their license (its supposed to be difficult) and actually dealing with the technical side of using the machines. Most of the time people want to go into the radiology field b/c they are interested in the medical aspect of it, and they don't realize they have to deal with machines. A reward, for me, would be not having to deal with a lot of blood, and getting to comfort distressed patients. Hope this helps! : ) Good luck on your project!
