she has been since she was like...born idk. i am 14 and we're friends i guess but she is always being a spoiled brat. she has a trampoline, a pool table, a foozball table, her own dvd player, guitar(which she got after i got mine), and just recently a built in pool. plus, she always gets away with everything. her brother doesn't though, and he is 15. also, when she was going to get her pool table she was all excited. shes the one who wanted it. and now she says "o i dont like it. i dont like pool blah blah blah." and to add to it, a while ago some agent lady asked her to go to some audition thing and now she gets to be in these small tiny parts in movies and she thinks shes this big shot movie star. please tell me what i should do about her, she drives me crazy! and do not say i am jealous because no way in hell would i ever be jealous of that spoiled brat. i'll add more terrible things she's done when i think of it. o and if you're gonna bash me, dont bother. thanks.

ya but what bugs me the most is that she doesnt even appreciate what her parents do for her. my mom&dad are divorced so i stay with my dad&grandma every other weekend and she sleeps over on fridays...and im not gonna say i dont want her there cuz when shes not being a brat i enjoy her company i guess...sometimes :)

If your not jealous then look for a way to be a good role model for her. Show her different ways to behave. Be her mentor. Make sensible suggestions that she'll understand. Don't worry - in your situation your character will be established in a mature and responsible manner. She'll look up to you and want to be like you - trust me, that's how it works. We all need role models. You be hers. :)

I have cousins just like that, honestly, you can't do much except maybe tell whichever of your parents is the sibling of your aunt and ask them to help you deal with it. If that doesn't work, tell her you won't go over to her house or hang out with her if she doesn't stop. She probably sees you as a role model because you're her older cousin and is often trying to impress you. This may not be the case, she might just be a natural brat but if she is, she'll probably try to be nicer so you'll still hang out with here.

Have you tried to talk to your parents, maybe they can help limit the amount of time you have to spend with her. Or you can tell her honestly that you don't like the way she acts. Sometimes if you call them on their behavior then it can change. But only if they are willing. Next time she is bragging just look at her and say "that's nice" and continue what you were doing. If you don't react to her then maybe she will go away.

I don't have siblings, yet I know exactly how you feel. Just be happy. When she starts showing off, act like it's no big deal. The more you yell at her and show your feelings, the more she's going to rub it in your face. Just smile, ignore, and walk away.

And this is your business why?....if you dont like her dont see her you arent the parent in this situation. Shes 10 for goodness sake if you were being given these things would you knock them back??
