pros - they are delicious! they give instant gratification, they can be eaten in various ways and with various sauces/gravy, cheese, chili etc...(look up New York Fries for many diff ways to eat fries), they're a fast food
cons - they clog your arteries, they have almost no nutritional value, they cause you to feel groggy after eating them (because there's nothing good in them), they are usually salted and salt causes bloating and dehyrdration, they increase your cholesterol level....man I'm gonna stop eating fries now lol

The Pros: They taste divine, the crispier, the better. And there are so many delicious dips you can dunk them in. French fries seem to go naturally with hamburgers.
The Cons: They're full of fat and cholesterol unless they are fried in poly unsaturated fats like olive or canola oil. Plus, everyone puts tons of salt on them which adds to the sodium count. The dips up the caloric value. So if you're trying to lose weight, they are on the no-no list. They are really not the healthiest thing you can eat.

Most fast food fries are fried in hydrogeanted oils which are full of trans fatty acids and can clog your arteries.
A potato is a healthy food, it is what is done preparing it that can make is bad.
Nutrionally there is really nothing pro about french fries, tastewise- yes they taste good..
Con there is a lot- from high calories, high fat, high salt, and possibly the use of hydrogenated oils to fry them.

Pros- Taste Really good when done right.
Best thing to happen to ketchup.
Nice thing to order in a coffee shop when you're not that hungry but you're a bit hungry.
They smell good when they come out fresh.
Good with burgers.
Cons- Really fattening.
Bad carbs.
Nothing about them is good for your health. You don't get any positive value from them.
You always crave them when you shouldn't be eating them.
Makes you want to go to McDonalds though you know its fried with beef lard.

PROS: they taste really good.
made out of a vegetable
not hard to make home made
can get them at almost any fast food restraunt
can win free stuff from McDonalds off of the game pieces.
Cons: really bad fo your health
full of fat
all of the nutrition is sucked out of them when you fry then in all that grease
