I go to a Christian school that is run by a very modest family. They don't believe teen boy and girls should really interact because of their raging hormones! I'm the only 12th grader at the school and the people closest to my age are 2 10th graders! I'm so fed up with the people their and the education really stinks because no one is really able to TEACH me the information! I'm thinking about going to the Adult High School at the community college to graduate. All I would have to pay for is my books and you work at your own pace! At the school I'm at now we pay for tuition, books, and uniforms for an education that's not really worth it! I'm just not sure what I should do because I'm worried about getting back into the public schooling system verses Christian?

I went to a public school basically my whole life until this year because I kind of got involved with the wrong people if you know what I mean! So that's why I'm kind of worried about getting into the public system I really need to be sheltered but not as much as I am now! I honestly could care less about being a wierdo because I'm a Christian that automatically makes me wierd in the eyes of society today!

Some Christian schools are very good, others are no so good.

Talk to your parents. Show them how inferior the education really is. Prove your point. I'm a Christian and I know how some of the small Christian schools are run. I fear that you are not getting the education you really need.

Do what you think is right. Is this a "home school" technically (I mean are the Teachers Credentialed with College Degrees and all)?

Depending on where you live you might even be allowed to go to the JC without finishing high school. California allows it, but NY doesn't.

Good luck, you sounds like you know what you want more than most do!

Religious schools really keep you sheltered from the real world. When you reenter society in general, guess what, you will be considered the weirdo who doesn't know anything. Finish your education there and go out more.

Speak to your parents, im sure they are more interested that you are getting the education that they are paying for than the fact thats its a christian school.

Go for it, your education is more important than allowing yourself to be oppressed.
