For my part, that would seem hard, but not undoable. As a show of strength, there would be value. But how does that enhance the flow of the story?

Of course it's possible! There has been a book publish (although the title evades me) without the use of the letter "E", and "E" is more commonly used than "I" is.

yes me do know you can create a book not embracing the letter "I" (yeah right i had a hard time with the first part of the awnser)

Not in English, unless the book is absurdist or something akin to beat or rhythm poetry.

maybe., but then you would have to explain why to the reading group. then you will be using the word or character "i" a lot :)

caterpillar has an "i" in it..you can't even write a book without caterpillar..so i guess you can't
