When I was 7 I got my ears pierced, and everything was alright. Then I changed to piercing studs to 24kt. (sp?) gold studs. I would always keep them in, while i slept, swam, took showers. In a month I got an allergic reaction, and the doctor said that it was because i have very sensitive skin. I was thinking that I was only allergic because I kept them in so long. Is it a good or bad idea to get my ears repierced?

I consider something I constantly get 14K rings, in no way the rest through inflammation. have you ever used the answer for newly pierced ears? i found that the therapeutic answer that Claire's sells is an identical factor present in Band-help, cleansing and an infection foam. i like this! you are able to pump the froth the two on the front and lower back of the piercing and it melts interior the spots it needs to get. I additionally, and that i've got fairly some piercings use Neosporin on a Q-Tip to maintain the area moisturized and the earring is able to show freely after the applying. if your mom has bumped off the rings, it is her call whether you are able to placed them lower back in, yet i'd certainly bypass lower back and make constructive it somewhat is a 14K pair. besides the certainty that i'm not sure your mom would be waiting to get an earring via your hollow now. If no longer, you basically option is a physician and permit the holes % up. Sorry.

I'm also very allergic; there's no type of earring that I can wear for a long period of time. I'd say not to get repierced, as it is most likely you are still allergic and will have wasted the money. If you really want to try, get posts made with surgical steel, as it is least likely you will be allergic to them.

One solution if you did get your ears re pierced would be to coat the part of the earring that goes through the ear with clear nail polish. this creates a barrier between the metal and the skin.

This is a pretty common solution to metal allergies. It can be used on all types of jewelry from earrings to bracelets.
