I started to like this best friend of mine three months ago. We went out for supper last Friday, I told her I liked her but she said "I'm really sorry, but you are one of my best friends." I know it's a rejection but I still love her the same. I know that we love each other as brother and sister, but I also like her in romantic ways. Do I keep trying or just simply give up on her and stay as the way we are? Any help is appreciated!

Seriously move on. It will make your relationship with her more steady anyway then to have you being awkwardly infactuated with her everytime you see each other. If she see's you at ease and enjoying yourself with other women then maybe she will start to see you in another light but don't rely on it.

Stay as you are!! She gave a wonderfully tactful, yet firm answer. Keep her as a friend...platonic female friends are a gift from God - they care, no strings attached, and will support you with answers when you are getting near a potential relationship and are not real sure if the time is right!
You have invested a small piece of your heart...but at least its still a small piece. That is your gift to her for being your friend...save the rest of your heart for when you do find someone who is truly interested in a very personal relationship with you. I would move on. She told you flat out that she likes you better as a friend. Dont keep trying, it might ruin your friendship. Find someone who does love/like you in that way, rejection always sucks, but its not like she rejected your friendship, which i believe that friendship is more valuable than any romantic relationship. Good luck. Its better to have her as a friend, than have her as nothing at all, think of it that way.

In the first place does she has a bf?? If she does then you just have to move on but still treat her as your best friend. If she doesn't I think you should just try. You might not know if she keep the same feelings towards you.

If you have a brother sister relationship now, then keep it that way. If she refuses to take the relationship any further , perhaps she never will. Sometimes rejections are good, especially if God Has someone better for you.

don't loose ur life,she is clear urself confusing between d relationship.u no need to think her as ur sister just think as ur friend every confusion will come to an end.

even if you can't give up on your feelings for her, don't act on them...just be a really good friend and be sweet to her, and she'll love you, even if not romantically. i hope it works out for you.
however, trust me, it's very common for people to love their best friends in more than friendly ways...which means that eventually, if you don't pressure her, don't "hit on" her, and just be an amazing friend to her and whatever she needs, she could end up wanting you romantically, too ^-^
