A very pale dove gray with white trim for the woodwork would look great for the walls, coordinate with the pink/black/white color scheme, make the bed colors really pop, and give it a classic look at the same time.

well pink is a good color, but you dont want to over do it with pink. Too much pink, can be... too much pink, it's easy to over do it with pink.
There's a number of colors that are good with Pink and black, You can use a red for example, which is the neutral of black and pink.
If that's too gloomy for you, and you Love bright colors, you can even do another neon color, like Neon Green, or a breazy color, like a zen green. Black will go with any color what so ever. Pink is NOT good with alot of colors.
If you want a really neutral color, you can always try a creme color.
if you want somethign unique, you an always do a white or very light pink, to the point where you can almost not see it, and then do a pink border, on the bottom, or through the middle of the wall goign across. It's easy just tape off a stripe. It can be pretty fun.
One of my friends a while ago, had a purple bed set, and she painted her walls white, with a blue a few blue stripes around it, and with that and every few feet, she had a cork board, with pictures of her friends, and some doodles, and some pinned up cards from xmas and her birthday.
It's an idea. What color is your floor?

Sound exactly like the room my daughter is doing for her little girl. Her water bed is black and her dresser, her walls are white, one is striped in hot pink. One small wall is done totally is hot pink with a mirror framed in black on it. The striped wall only has the trim painted black, the sealing which is a tile is painted in hot pink and while checkerboard, she bought a dress form like the ones used to put dressers of if you were a seamstress and put a black and hot pink dress on it, she is going to run a wire up it and make a lamp out of it, the shade will be a big pink hat.Good luck have fun the colors are amazing.Kind of french botique looking

do an accent wall. one wall that is painted different from the rest of the room. In this case the wall where the headboard is located. I will paint this wall black and the rest of the room a very pale shade of pink. Art in black and white will look really great against that black wall and go really well with you bedding.

Sounds adorable! Soooooooooo many possibilities! Masking tape running up/down, spaced and across(plaid or checker), paint darker shade of pink, dry, strip. Polka dots and stripes in a combination of pink and black, w/wainscot border 1/2 way up!
Dark Pink from floor, 1/2 way up (wainscot) install a horizontal strip of stair railing, then paint lighter shade of pink on top or stipe wallpaper in similar colors. So many accent picture frames and pillows available. Experiment first in either a small area or draw it out on paper w/colors. There are tons of students enrolled in Interior Design at several colleges....see if any of them want to give you free advice, offer to give them "grades" in exchange.
Actually sounds really fun and could be awesome!

think of black as a neutral color (which means anything will go with it) Go to the paint store and find the shade of pink you will be working with on one of those color strips that will have 6-7 shades of the same color on them. Count down to the shade of pink you're working with.
(for example: say its third from the top). Then whatever color you choose, should also be third from the top so that your colors are all in the same "tone". Unless you choose another neutral such as gray or white you can go much lighter.

DON'T PAINT YOUR ROOM HOT PINK, it closes the room up an you will get a little sea sick. I would pain the walls a vanilla trim a shade or two darker then I would start decorating. Myself I would do HUGH HEFNER (PLAYBOY BUNNY'S). On the wall I would draw a Playboy Bunny emblem on the wall a Large one. The bow tie would be black an hot pink.

i would paint the walls a neutral colour like ice cream or linen (off white)......then on the wall behind my bed i would have that as a feature wall in hot pink....its a great effect if you sponge paint or suede finish the feature wall.....
